Casting
in sand
Sand casting allows for the production of complex shapes, even large ones, with excellent cost-effectiveness from prototypes to medium-volume production. Flexible and reliable, it offers good metallurgical quality, although there are limitations regarding minimum wall thicknesses and surface finish.
Casting
at low pressure
Low-pressure casting ensures high-quality components and good repeatability. Ideal for medium- to high-volume production, it offers excellent surface finishes, fewer casting defects, and a process that can be automated, although it requires higher initial investment and dedicated molds.
Casting
with lost wax
The lost-wax casting process offers extremely high precision, an excellent finish, and design flexibility. Suitable for various alloys, it allows for the creation of complex geometries without the need for expensive equipment. It is ideal for special or limited-run productions but is not suitable for high-volume production.
Casting
in permanent molds
Permanent mold casting uses permanent steel molds, which are ideal for producing aluminum and bronze parts. It ensures excellent surface finishes, thin wall thicknesses, and good mechanical properties, making it advantageous for medium-volume production, although it has limitations regarding complex shapes and dimensions.
Die Casting
Die casting enables high-speed, high-volume production with excellent surface quality and thin wall thicknesses. Ideal for light alloys, it requires specialized molds and machinery. It is suitable for simple, repetitive components in medium- to high-volume production runs.
